Spent yesterday and Friday night at the Clark County Fair in Ridgefield, WA. The highlights were goats, deep fried cookie dough, and tuff trucks!

I’ve seen these videos before but didn’t realize we were going to this exact place for this same event ! This one is from a previous year, but you get the idea. The course was a little different, better I think, with a pile of logs for the trucks to go over and rock garden. Like 3ft diameter boulders actually.

There were monster trucks yesterday too, but weren't  nearly as fun as these guys.

This was glorious, and just goes to show that if you don’t need a pickup bed, buy a Subaru

There was an old Impreza Friday night, it hit something in the rock garden and made the loudest bang noise! It was stuck, and everyone thought it broke. But he kept going and finished!

Local fair had a tough truck event. It was a lot more tame than this...few small jumps, no water feature, only 4 entrants. Still rocked. Beer and h and dipped corndogs hit the spot.

Some of these guys had been doing it locally for something like 15-20 years! Hugely popular and I can see why.
